Reset before the week ahead

Before you start to journal, jot down any thoughts that are coming up when thinking of the week ahead. Write them down so you can clear your mind.

Now spend a little bit of time visualising your week. What intentions, emotions and themes would you like to bring into the week ahead?

Why is it important for you to be rooted in them? How will this help you navigate the week ahead?

What are you still holing from the past week? What emotions, situations and thoughts do you need to let go of?

Think of some mechanisms that you may want to use in order for you to stay rooted in the intentions and emotions you want. This will help you if you face moments of adversity and difficulty.

What can you implement into your daily life to help you with this? If you want to move more slowly, spend time in the evenings preparing for the next morning so you aren’t rushing out the door.

Visualise yourself in different events and situations that you will deface next week. How do you feel, act and move in them?

Hold those visualisations as you go to sleep, remember to act and think in ways that will honour yourself a d others in the week to come. X
